Loan Documents Required Checklist

Keep the basic documents ready before applying. Select requirements may vary based on loan product, customer profile, property, vehicle and lender policy.

Salaried Applicants

  • PAN and Aadhaar
  • Recent passport-size photograph
  • Latest 3 salary slips
  • Last 6 months salary-account statements
  • Employee ID and employment proof
  • Current-address proof, if different from Aadhaar

Self-employed / Professionals

  • PAN and Aadhaar of applicant/promoters
  • Business registration or professional qualification proof
  • Last 2–3 years ITR with computation
  • Financial statements where applicable
  • Last 6–12 months bank statements
  • GST returns or business proof, where applicable

Home Loan / Property Purchase

  • Applicant income and KYC documents
  • Agreement of sale / allotment letter
  • Title and link documents
  • Approved building plan and permissions
  • Property-tax receipts, where applicable
  • Builder or seller documents as required by lender

Loan Against Property

  • Applicant/business income documents
  • Property title and link documents
  • Latest property-tax receipts
  • Approved plan and construction permissions
  • Existing loan statement, if any
  • Legal and valuation documents requested by lender

Business / Working Capital

  • Entity PAN and registration proofs
  • GST registration and returns, where applicable
  • ITR and financials for last 2–3 years
  • Current-account statements
  • Business-vintage and office proof
  • Existing loan schedules and sanction letters

Vehicle Loan

  • Applicant KYC and income documents
  • Vehicle quotation / proforma invoice
  • Bank statements and income proof
  • Driving licence, where requested
  • Existing vehicle RC and loan statement for refinance
  • Additional documents based on vehicle and lender policy
